We have an exciting and challenging new role in our team for an Area Business Manager to cover the Irish market. Lennox is recruiting for candidates to work with our Key Supply Partners and better meet the needs of our customers.
Scope of Role
* To drive and grow sales of all products within your area
* Establishing and growing strong Customer relationships
* To meet and exceed your area targets
* To be an ambassador for Lennox
* To be up to date with all aspects of the position, including product knowledge and market intelligence
* Maintaining and increasing sales and profit of Lennox products
* Generate sales for a portfolio of accounts and reach the company's sales target
* Identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts to remain a client-account manager relationship by up-selling and cross-selling
* Maintaining and expanding your customer base
* Maintaining high service levels with existing customers
* Work closely with your assigned Customer Service / Business Support Buddy to formulate strategy and achieve / exceed your area target
* Increasing business opportunities through various routes to market
* Develop value-added services
* Manage and solve issues/conflicts with clients
* Interact and coordinate with the sales specialists and all staff members working on the same account
* Establish budgets with the client and company
* Reaching the targets and goals set for your area
* Compiling and analysing sales figures
* Collecting customer feedback and market research
* Keeping up to date with products and competitors
* Attend meetings as and when required. These may involve evenings and weekends.
* Producing and updating account plans, including Customer classification, and market maps
The requirements are as follows
* Educated to degree standard or equivalent experience
* Willingness to undertake training and continuing professional development
* At least 2 years sales experience
* Experience in account management
* Ability to proficiently use industry standard IT systems (e.g. Microsoft Office, Email, Internet, etc.) to a basic level
* Ability to cope with pressure and to work to strict deadlines
* Ability to prioritise workload, with excellent organisational skills
* Ability to work collaboratively as a team
* Ability to work without direct supervision and use initiative
* Ability to manage, facilitate and chair meetings
* Ability to form and maintain good working relationships
* Proven ability in communication and negotiation
* To be entrepreneurial

* Thorough and accurate and able to work with attention to detail
* Excellent interpersonal skills

* Prepared to travel independently with occasional overnight stays
* Knowledge of financial procedures (processing invoices, recording budget expenditure)
