This is a full-time permanent position, working 5 days over 7 days, Monday to Sunday.
The main purpose of this role is to ensure the timely action of all inquiries according to our brand standards, providing information for guests, selling and coordinating in-house activities, and selling the beauty of Ballyfin in order to convert bookings.
A large part of this role will be seamlessly arranging all guest requests, including anticipating requirements to ensure all guests have a memorable stay at Ballyfin.
Main duties include (but are not limited to):
Respond to all telephone & email inquiries receivedActively action all individual and group reservationsProactively convert inquiries to salesOffer the best possible advice to guests on the House and DemesneHave a good knowledge of local and national places of interestAssist guests with all Demesne activitiesAssist the Butlers in welcoming guests, i.e., greet cars/guests from front steps, welcome to house, brief tour, etc.Prepare the daily function sheets and attend the daily operational meetingsResponsible for the stock taking and ordering of items for our on-site shopEnsure that all relevant data is collected in advance of guest visits and communicated to relevant department headsThis is a busy and diverse role where attention to detail and exceptional customer service is crucial.
