We seek a Sr.
Product Manager to grow with our team.
This position is responsible for the strategy,roadmap, and feature definition for key products in the Astro Devices Software & Services product portfolio;interfacing with product managers, UX designers, engineering teams, marketing and other teams to defineand deliver compelling products to the market.
The product manager analyzes market and competitive conditions and lays out a product vision that isdifferentiated and delivers unique value based on customer demands.
The role of the product managerspans many activities from strategic to tactical and provides cross-functional leadership — bridging gapswithin the company between different functions, especially between development, sales and marketing, andsupport.
The product manager is the person responsible for defining the 'why', 'what,' 'where', and 'when' of theproduct that the development team will build.
They are the owner of their product -- which means they leadcross-functional teams from a product's conception through to its launch.
Responsibilities ? Developing a deep understanding of customer needs through market & customer research? Setting product vision, strategy and roadmaps ? Managing business priorities based on input from leadership and key stakeholders? Documenting product requirements, user stories & offer strategy ? Creating a business case and financial goals ? Work with enablement organizations to make products orderable and deliverable ? Support go to market activities & facilitate sales and channel training ? Manage risks and resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality ? Strategic partner and third party supplier management Basic RequirementsDesired Skills? Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written are a necessity ? Polished presentation skills for internal and external audiences? Proactive, enthusiastic attitude toward challenging problems ? Capable of quickly evaluating and prioritizing new projects alongside customer feedback ? Strong ability to take complex user requirements and distill them into a format that can be understood by developers as well as non-technical staff.
? Ability to research and analyze project requirements from various stakeholders ? Ability to understand market trends, financial data, and customer needs and assess competitive intelligence data.
? Can quickly understand new technical concepts and their impact on the business/market? Build consensus among stakeholders ? Ability to work well independently and as part of a diverse, multi-cultural team spread across multiple continents in a fast-moving environment ? Ability to multi-task among various assignments ? Advanced time management and prioritization skills ? Self-motivated and autonomous.
Qualifications:? 7+ years progressive, relevant technology experience in engineering or Product Planning/ProductMarketing/Product Management ? Educated to degree level in a suitable subject - e.g.
Engineering with business/marketing, or productmanagement ? Experience with enterprise tools such JIRA, Tableau and Confluence Basic Requirements:? Fluent in English ? Bachelor's degree ? MBA or other graduate degree preferred but not required ? Travel will range from 10-25%?
