Job Summary
Cork Foyer is a supportive housing project by Cork City Council that helps young people aged 18-25 experiencing homelessness or at risk. It provides safe accommodation combined with personal support, education, and training to help residents transition to independent living. Residents receive assistance with skills development, job readiness, and community engagement, promoting long-term stability and self-sufficiency. Reporting to the Foyer Manager, you will be working as part of a dedicated staff team, ensuring young people receive the necessary support and guidance to live successfully at the Foyer and to prepare them for a planned move-on and resettlement into accommodation in the community. You will be expected to maintain the highest standard of service provision and assist in the smooth running of the Foyer during periods of staff shortages.
