Job Title: Site Manager
Location: Leinster Area
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team for various projects across the Leinster area. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Management:
o Supervise and oversee all on-site construction activities.
o Ensure that projects stay on schedule and within budget.
o Coordinate with project managers, engineers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure a smooth workflow.
2. Team Management:
o Lead and direct a team of construction workers, subcontractors, and laborers.
o Assign tasks and responsibilities to workers, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency.
o Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment.
3. Quality Control:
o Ensure that all work meets quality standards and adheres to project specifications.
o Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or issues.
o Implement and monitor quality control measures and processes.
4. Safety:
o Enforce safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
o Conduct safety meetings and training sessions for workers.
o Investigate and report accidents or safety violations promptly and thoroughly.
5. Problem Solving:
o Identify and resolve construction-related issues and challenges promptly.
o Collaborate with project stakeholders to find solutions to unexpected problems.
o Adapt plans and strategies to address project deviations and unforeseen obstacles.
6. Communication:
o Serve as a liaison between workers, subcontractors, and project management.
o Provide regular updates on project progress and any deviations from the plan.
o Communicate project requirements and expectations clearly to the team, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
* Relevant third-level qualification in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
* Proficiency in construction management software and tools is an advantage.
