CO+I is responsible for delivering over 200 Microsoft web portals, Live and Online Services around the world including infrastructure, security and compliance, operations, globalization, and manageability. The Lease Technical Program Manager is accountable for building foundational elements to drive on-time delivery of lease construction projects globally. The Lease Technical Program Manager will partner closely with the internal and external stakeholders to define the strategy, assess the current state of the processes, identify gaps, and implement controls to improve the signal to Data Center delivery cycle. The Lease Program Manager is responsible for establishing the systems and tools necessary to enable tracking of delivery milestones, project delays, mitigation action plans, and Lessons Learned to ensure successful on time delivery of lease capacity to Microsoft customers. The Lease Technical Program Manager is responsible for building an early warning system to predict Ready for Service (RFS) delays.
The Lease Technical Program Manager will coordinate with the Data Center Operations team to define and implement necessary processes and tools to ensure that the turned over Data Center has met the Microsoft standards, and the lessor has complied and delivered their technical commitments.
The Lease Technical Program Manager will also be actively involved in streamlining our technical compliance/statement of qualifications (SOQ) as well as driving process improvements in alignment with our organizations Objectives & Key Results (OKRs).
The role of the Lease Technical Program Manager requires strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, ability to self-direct, strong background in data center design, engineering, controls, and operational requirements and an emphasis on project/construction management, and datacenter lease market experience.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in construction project management, Architecture, Civil/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND related experience.
2. Knowledge of the Data Center industry, operators in region and market dynamics is preferred.
3. Knowledge of real estate and mission critical environments, such as Data Centers
4. Collaborator, working closely with multiple teams and subject matter experts.
5. Confident, takes ownership, willingness to “do what it takes” to get the job done with proven experience leading complex negotiations/initiatives to successful completion.
6. Strong analytical, creative thinking, written, and verbal communications skills.
7. Proven ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations.
8. Willing to travel as needed (up to 25%).
9. Experience with corporate communications.
Preferred Qualifications
10. Experience in construction or engineering of data centers/Mission Critical Facilities.
11. Verbal and Written Communication Skills in English
