Bookkeeping Assistant (Part Time) - Dublin City Centre
Reed is delighted to be working with a fantastic educational institute in their search for a Bookkeeping Assistant.
You will take responsibility for all matters relating to payroll while assisting with other accounts administration duties. This position operates within a very busy environment with the incumbent reporting directly to the Finance Manager.
Salary will be pro rata for 17.5 hours per week

Duties in the role:
1. Update Trips/Tours/Retreats Budget sheets and summaries with income & expenditure
2. Update the Trip Coordinators on the status of student income received
3. Issue and allocate purchase orders against invoices approved by Budget holders
4. Ensure compliance with the procurement policy for quotes and that third-party requirements are adhered to for invoices received
5. Update and maintain the required spreadsheets for allocation of costs for taxis and housekeeping for the Finance Team
6. Assist the Finance Team with preparing and making lodgments
7. Assist the Finance Team with reconciliation of receipts and lodgments
8. Update the lodgment spreadsheet
9. Assist the Finance Team with receipting Income from cash/cheques
10. Reconcile receipts from Trips/Tours with payment disbursements/Clever Cards and record any variances
11. Assist the Finance Team with all filing requirements
12. Filing and Invoice scanning for electronic payment processing
13. Ensure that internal housekeeping documents are recorded and updated
14. Maintain stationery orders and stockroom suppliers
15. Assist the Finance Team with any ad hoc accounting requirements
