About your role:
We are seeking an energetic and ambitious Product Owner to take responsibility for the implantation and management of the products and propositions portfolio. Key to this will be the implementation of all products and propositions in accordance with the Consumer strategy, delivering effective and efficient product lifecycle development and ensuring full channel alignment.
You’ll ensure that the portfolio maps into the overall Consumer strategy across segments and deliverables for the organisation. You will need to ensure that the product strategy is fully understood, the market needs assessed, the technical solution validated, and the business model and channels are viable.
You’ll also be responsible for defining and managing the product roadmap through to implementation with regular stakeholder engagement and management of escalations. You’ll determine requirements to grow Consumer business in line with company strategy.
This is a temporary maternity cover contract.
About You:
* Experience in product management, marketing or consulting ideally from the energy, telecoms or technology sector
* Understanding of the interaction between product and services and all operational parts of the business
* Demonstrated ability to launch and manage products within the product lifecycle
* Commercial acumen that enables identification and focus on key business and product metrics that support new product development and lifecycle management
* Strong project management, problem solving and analytical thinking skills
* Experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
* Customer focused, detail oriented and innovative
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
