Operations Director
We are currently recruiting an Operations Director to lead our client's operations in Ireland. Our client is a renowned expert in the construction and civils industry, with a strong client profile across various sectors including commercial, industrial, and residential.
As a seasoned leader, you will oversee all aspects of the organisation's operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with our client's goals and objectives.
This role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and the ability to optimise processes and resources to drive business growth and success.
Responsibilities
* Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve our client's short-term and long-term goals.
* Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
* Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Manage people, financial, and material resources effectively to support operational objectives and maximise productivity.
* Collaborate with other departments, including finance, marketing, sales, and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
* Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.
* Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions that meet our client's needs.
* Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices adoption across the organisation.
Requirements
* Valid EU Driving License.
* Degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role overseeing operations in a similar industry.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve goals.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
