We are currently seeking a Senior Campaign Manager to join our newly formed retail media network. This role is based in our Head Office in Dublin city centre.
The Role
The Senior Campaign Manager will be a part of the Dunnes Stores Retail Media Group and will be dedicated to connecting brands with a vast audience of shoppers. This dynamic position involves managing a portfolio of clients and FMCG brands. You will be responsible for delivering campaigns, overseeing everything from initial strategy development and briefings to implementation and evaluation.
This role is at the heart of the interface between brands, Dunnes Stores, and the shopper. This role will be a match maker that acts as a bridge between brands and their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Creating proposals and strategies based on supplier budgets and objectives, designing a unified media plan that meets KPIs.
2. Aligning brand activations to enhance and amplify Dunnes Stores tent pole events, ensuring Dunnes Stores brand positioning is delivered through retail media activation.
3. Collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders to activate FMCG branded initiatives across multiple channels, both on-site and off-site, ensuring adherence to timelines and creative guidelines.
4. Taking ownership of driving commercial outcomes for your assigned categories, contributing to broader business goals by identifying investment opportunities, managing forecasts, and reporting on results.
5. Managing direct reports, conducting weekly meetings, developing work plans, facilitating appraisals, and monitoring their daily performance and growth while also providing ongoing support as needed.
6. Ensuring all content including media plans, status reports, performance reviews, and recommendations are delivered to a high standard that reflects the team’s excellence.
7. Fostering positive relationships and communicating effectively with clients, tailoring your approach to different stakeholders to present yourself as a trusted senior team member.
8. Assisting the senior leadership team with governance and various ad hoc requests and meetings as necessary.
Qualifications and Experience:
1. A proven track record in the development and planning of strategic marketing campaigns, which delivered positive results.
2. Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
3. Strong leadership capabilities, with a background in coaching and managing teams.
4. Experience in striving for ambitious goals, alongside strong numerical and data analysis skills.
5. Effective presentation abilities.
6. Proficiency in Excel, Google Analytics, and Powerpoint.
7. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills to engage confidently with senior stakeholders and external clients.
8. A creative mindset, unafraid to approach challenges from unique perspectives or question established practices.
