Role Title: AP Business Support / Financial Assistant
Location: Hybrid role - include on advertisements.
Type: Replacement for previous contractor.
Team: 5 senior analysts, 1 plant controller.
Experience Required: Generally Requires 2-4 Years Work Experience
Role Overview: Business Support around AP and finance function.
All AP done via shared services centre on a global level. Responsibility for managing any issues with this. A lot of adhoc duties including local payments, external invoicing, running reports, etc. Finance Admin - all different functions will look to this person for support (operations, facilities, etc). A lot of face-to-face interaction across different functions.
Job Requirements: Busy role, requires a strong communicator and someone with experience in multitasking, good at Excel (lookups, pivots), and experience with any ERP system. Seeking multinational experience more so than from a small company. Ideally coming from a manufacturing or shared services centre background, with strong P2P experience, SAP knowledge, and fluent English.
Description:
1. Job Purpose: Supporting business stakeholders to ensure invoices are paid within agreed terms. Provides general support to the finance group.
Responsibilities:
1. Resolving mismatches and RFIs from Global Services in a timely fashion.
2. Taking ownership and actioning more complex issues preventing suppliers from being paid as per agreed terms.
3. Producing reports, schedules, and summaries for operational activities and business reviews.
4. Actively seeking and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
5. Adhoc duties assisting within the Finance Department.
6. Managing local payments ensuring all documentation is fully compliant.
Education and Experience Required:
1. Working knowledge of P2P process.
2. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
3. Ability to operate as part of a team is critical.
4. Must be able to work on own initiative.
5. Innovative & good problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent attention to detail.
7. Results and performance-driven.
8. Strong MS Excel skills.
9. Adaptable and flexible.
10. Several years of relevant finance experience.
11. Demonstrates traits and behaviours in line with client expectations.
12. Good working knowledge of SAP.
13. Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
