As a trusted partner, they are seeking a qualified accountant with experience in preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS, ideally from within or working closely with a Plc environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the financial reporting and planning process, contributing to the continued success of the organization.The ideal candidate will have proven experience working within a team to achieve common objectives, while also possessing the ability to analyze large datasets and make informed decisions under tight deadlines. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with key stakeholders and ensuring accurate and comprehensive reporting.ResponsibilitiesPrepare Group’s annual, interim, and quarterly financial statements in compliance with IFRS.Lead process improvements and monitor data quality in the Group’s consolidation system.Manage month-end reporting and the closure process, ensuring timely completion.Collaborate with management and Group teams for accurate reporting and liaise with auditors.Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)Work with senior stakeholders to develop budgets, forecasts, and the 5-year plan.Provide monthly analysis on key financial metrics and support executive and board reports.Analyse and explain monthly variances to budget and support acquisition integration.Partner with business units to offer insights for commercial decisions and business trends.Qualifications, Experience & Skills RequiredFully qualified accountant with experience, ideally in a Plc environment or working closely with one.Proven experience in preparing consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS.Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a team to achieve shared objectives.Skilled in analysing large volumes of data to draw insights and make informed decisions.Ability to work independently and deliver results within tight deadlines.Strong communication skills when interacting with key stakeholders.Positive, proactive attitude with a focus on taking action.Excellent analytical abilities (both numerical and written), along with strong planning and organizational skills.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.Seniority levelAssociateEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesHospitals and Health Care
