Motor Distributors Limited, the exclusive importer and distributor of XPENG in Ireland wishes to recruit a National Sales Manager, based at our Headquarters in Dublin 12.We are looking for an experienced, motivated, proactive professional who will be responsible for the development of our Sales Strategy. This is a new position, created to increase our sales and market share in the PC business across all sales channels. The successful candidate will form an important part of our new team as we introduce this exciting new brand to the Irish market.XPENG is leading the future of AI mobility, an EV company that designs, develops, manufactures, and markets EVs which appeal to a large and growing base of technology-savvy consumers. Its mission is to drive Smart EV transformation with technology, shaping the mobility experience of the future.Key Duties & Responsibilities:Create the environment to realize the full potential for XPENG PC sales in our market.Operational and strategic management of XPENG Ireland's growth strategy across all sales channels.Agree progressive annual sales targets with management and with the dealer network.Manage harmonious relationships with XPENG, agreeing on a two-year rolling business plan/targets.Travel to manufacturer events and motor shows as required.Stock management of new vehicles, ensuring the optimum stock levels align with industry seasonality.Nurturing a “Customer first” culture, exceeding expectations at every touchpoint of the customer journey.Implementing our XPENG brand sales strategies, policies, and procedures.Develop a high-performance, collaborative culture, delivering excellent operational performance.Ensure new vehicle launches are optimized and supported with smart integrated strategies and activities.Analyze market and franchise data to develop a growth plan and identify areas of opportunity.Work with our marketing team to develop brand, product, and XPENG leading technology awareness.Proficient in new vehicle order management system, product knowledge, model mix, and specification.Responsible for the development of our National Fleet Strategy, at Distributor & Dealer level.Monitor department performance against internal and Manufacturer KPI’s, targets, and budgets.Ensure all local market objectives/KPIs are owned and delivered by the sales team.Develop the dealer network, organize national dealer meetings and business events.Manage the interface with the public, the dealer network, the factory, and the management teams.Represent and champion the XPENG brand in our market, attending industry functions.The Successful Candidate Will Ideally:Have strong financial and commercial acumen.Have proven experience within the motor industry.Have the ability to deliver results and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.Be a highly motivated and self-driven individual who leads by example.Possess proven people management experience, being highly collaborative with strong communication skills.Be detail-oriented with excellent analytical and decision-making capabilities.Have proven ability to work to and set high standards.Be able to work calmly under pressure.Have the capacity to naturally shift from big picture to hands-on day-to-day delivery.Have a strong work ethic with the ability to achieve desired results.Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.Exhibit excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.Be able to present clearly, succinctly, and in a compelling manner.Have strong listening skills and creative problem-solving skills.Possess strong IT and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Be adaptable and flexible to changing technologies, processes, and environments.Have a persuasive style with a positive determination to achieve results and meet deadlines.Exhibit good management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to deliver results.Maintain a good balance between assertiveness and diplomacy.Possess a full and valid driving license.If you meet the above criteria and are interested in being considered for this position, please submit a cover letter outlining your availability and salary expectation, together with a comprehensive Curriculum Vitae.Skills:Strong Financial & Commercial Acumen, Motor Industry Experience, People Management
