Hotel Talent are recruiting for the position of Accommodation Manager for a hotel in Galway. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction across all rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee Housekeeping Operations – Manage the daily housekeeping and accommodation services to maintain the highest cleanliness and presentation standards.
2. Team Leadership & Development – Recruit, train, and lead the accommodation team, ensuring staff are motivated and delivering exceptional service.
3. Quality Control & Inspections – Conduct regular room and public area inspections to uphold hotel standards and address any issues promptly.
4. Stock & Budget Management – Monitor and manage linen, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities within budget while ensuring adequate stock levels.
5. Guest Satisfaction & Feedback – Respond to guest requests and feedback, ensuring a seamless and comfortable stay experience.
6. Health & Safety Compliance – Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, including fire safety and infection control protocols.
7. Collaboration with Other Departments – Work closely with Front Office, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage teams to enhance the overall guest experience.
8. Sustainability & Efficiency – Implement eco-friendly initiatives and cost-saving measures to improve efficiency in housekeeping operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
* Previous experience in an accommodation or housekeeping management role, ideally in a hotel or hospitality setting with Irish Experience.
* Strong leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
* High attention to detail with a passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and problem-solve effectively.
* Knowledge of health & safety regulations in hospitality.
* Experience in budget management and cost control is an advantage.
