About the Role:
Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Planning & Management:
o Develop and execute the organisational L&D Strategy in line with business priorities.
o Establish and maintain Annual L&D Business Plan and manage its implementation in line with budget.
o Identify future workforce skills requirements to remain competitive.
o Develop and manage the annual L&D Budget.
o Procure and manage external vendors.
* Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication:
o Collaborate with senior leadership to identify skills gaps and customize training solutions that meet specific operational and leadership development needs.
o Proactively collaborate with Group stakeholders to diagnose learning and organizational capability development needs and design, develop, and deploy a portfolio of development strategies and initiatives to support business needs.
o Effectively communicate and influence senior stakeholders, ensuring their buy-in and support for L&D initiatives.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at all levels across the organisation.
o Facilitate regular updates and feedback sessions with stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with business goals in the Learning & Development space.
o Effectively communicate the purpose and value of L&D initiatives to learning cohorts.
o Work closely with the communication team to ensure all L&D initiatives and programmes are communicated to all employees.
o Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful implementation of L&D programs.
o Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business and its strategic goals in engagements with key stakeholders.
o Work with the HR BP team and line managers to establish professional and personal development needs for their teams.
* Program Development:
o Design and implement programs focused on leadership, technical skills, onboarding, career progression, and succession planning.
o Coordinate succession and talent planning processes, in partnership with the HR Business Partners and Senior Management.
o Develop and implement High Potential program(s) for employees.
* Data-Driven Evaluation:
o Develop appropriate metrics that evaluate and report on the impact of organisational development and learning programs.
o Leverage data and analytics to identify training needs, measure program effectiveness, and inform decision-making.
o Evaluate the effectiveness of leadership programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
o Measure and demonstrate the impact of L&D initiatives on business performance.
o Assess the effectiveness of learning programs through feedback and performance metrics.
o Produce monthly and quarterly reports on training activity.
* L&D Team Engagement & Purpose:
o Lead the L&D Team to develop and implement L&D strategies that directly support business objectives.
o Work with L&D Team colleagues to promote offerings to key stakeholders.
o Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve L&D programs, staying abreast of emerging learning technologies and methodologies.
o Lead change initiatives within the L&D function and broader organisation. Build consensus and drive adoption of new learning approaches.
o Fully utilise and develop technology investments to support the immersion of L&D best practices across the organisation.
* Project Management:
o Lead and manage complex, company-wide learning and development (L&D) initiatives.
o Lead the team in collaboration with the project team to roll out a new LMS system.
o Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
o Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
