Job Description
We require a Shunter Driver to work alongside our Supply Chain Team on shift, performing technical and operational duties to ensure customer orders are fulfilled with the highest standard of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate shunter safely on-site.
* Perform safety inspections on vehicles and report any defects or damage.
* Maintain accurate pre/post shipment administration, including trailer loading sheets, purchase orders, PODs, quantity queries, and quality issues.
* Liaise with Materials & Logistics Co-Ordinator to optimize trailer holdings on site.
* Safely operate Counterbalance forklift for receipt of raw materials and goods in procedure adherence.
* Ensure warehouse cleanliness, audit readiness, and safe work environment.
* Manage pallets on site for efficient BPL pallet returns.
* Comply with company guidelines, purchasing policies, and procedures.
Essential Criteria
* Shunter Licence
* Forklift Licence
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* 1 year experience driving a shunter or HGV lorries
* Computer literate
