An established investor and trader in commercial aircraft engines. Being well financed, this company has been actively acquiring and trading assets throughout the lifecycle of the industry with an appetite for further growth in today's market.
Overview
To originate commercial aircraft engines for purchase and lease. Build strong relationships with lessors, MROs, airlines, and OEMs to identify purchase opportunities.
Duties
1. Originate new engine assets for acquisition as well as trading opportunities
2. Identify off-market opportunities
3. Utilise the company's technical department to assess mid-life assets and bid accordingly
4. Assist with purchase and sale price analysis
5. Assist in the development of pricing/bidding tools and strategies
6. Prepare and present analysis for senior management approval
7. Manage relationships with lessors, airlines, MROs, and owners of engine assets
8. Negotiate and assist in the execution of purchase and sale agreements
9. Participate in purchase and sale negotiations incorporating internal and external resources
10. Attend industry-related events and take on an ambassador role for the company
Knowledge / Experience
1. Existing relations with the target market and proven track record acquiring engines
2. At least 3-5 years of relevant industry experience
3. Proven ability to win concessions without damaging relationships
4. Knowledge of current market values and trends
5. Superior verbal and written communication skills
6. Ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously across multiple time zones
7. Drive a performance-oriented culture with a focus on results
8. Good knowledge of current technology in aircraft engines
Location:
Remote-based, will require a self-starter with the relevant industry experience. You will therefore be expected to arrange and attend meetings directly with customers in various locations. The person will be based in Europe and therefore must have the right to work in the EU.
