EARLY YEARS TEACHING AND LEARNING ASSISTANT

Nord Anglia International School, Dublin, is seeking a compassionate and adaptable Early Years Teaching and Learning Assistant to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the learning and development of young children in an engaging, inclusive, and high-quality educational setting.
The Role
* Assisting in the delivery of engaging and developmentally appropriate learning activities in line with early years educational standards.
* Providing individual and group support to children to foster their social, emotional, and academic development.
* Creating and maintaining a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
* Preparing resources and materials to support learning and classroom activities.
* Supporting teachers in assessment, record-keeping, and classroom management.
* Encouraging positive relationships between students, staff, and parents to enhance the learning experience.
* Assisting with daily routines, including personal care and hygiene, as required.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess
* A minimum qualification of QQI Level 5 in Teaching and Learning or an equivalent early years qualification.
* Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably in an early years classroom.
* A strong understanding of child development principles and early years learning methodologies.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
* Proficiency in using educational technology and classroom resources to support learning.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all students.
