Logistics Co-ordinator
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Logistics Co-ordinator to join our large, independent, family-owned business.
Job Summary:
This is a full-time, permanent position with working hours from Tuesday to Saturday: 9am - 5pm. We offer a hybrid working arrangement, with office-based work three days a week and remote work on Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Import orders, incorporating Fuel net orders where applicable, transforming them into Integra orders, load planning, and transmission of orders to the haulier.
* Plan and manage all export orders in line with company SOP's, including preparation of Customs documentation.
* Plan and manage all current Consignee Orders.
* Update and maintain the Integra databases to ensure customer files/supplier details are accurate.
* Monitor Unauthorised Delivery Reports.
* Prepare and submit ROM1 Reports.
* Operate IT systems to manage timings, costs, and stock levels.
* Log site defects (dealer & consignee) and follow up to ensure jobs are completed.
* Liaise with suppliers and haulage contractors.
* Load planning considering resource availability.
* Complete daily stocks.
* Handle day-to-day distribution enquiries and issues that arise with the Group's Licensee and Dealer customer base.
* Ensure special ad hoc customer requests are provided for.
* Investigate, record, and resolve all customer complaints.
* Assist with designing and implementing new Standard Operating Procedures as necessary.
* Provide cover for the Operations Supervisor, as required, including all aspects of Stock Management and Reconciliation.
* Be aware of and adhere to all relevant Company policies and procedures relating to this role, including ISO 9001 and Information Security Management System.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* A commercially aware, proactive problem-solver with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to deal with customers and management at all levels in a constructive manner.
* Excellent analytical, administrative, and I.T. skills, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, and Intermediate Excel).
* Strong attention to detail, accuracy, flexibility, well-organisation, self-motivation, capability to work under pressure, and planning workload to meet tight deadlines.
* Ability to work on own initiative but also consult where appropriate.
* Experience of automated logistics systems is an advantage.
