About the Role
The client is seeking an experienced IT Support Engineer to join their team in Dublin. This role involves providing Level 2 and 3 support across a variety of systems, including Windows, Office 365, and Azure.
Responsibilities
* Provide Level 2 and 3 support for Windows-based environments, including Active Directory and Office 365.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, escalating when necessary.
* Assist with the configuration and management of Azure-based services.
* Participate in IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments.
* Document technical solutions and maintain detailed records of support activities.
* Collaborate with other IT teams to optimize systems and processes.
* Provide guidance to junior team members as required.
Requirements
* 5+ years of experience in IT support, with a strong focus on Windows environments.
* Proficiency in Active Directory, Office 365, and Azure services.
* Experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) is a plus.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or CompTIA Network+ are desirable.
