About the Role
The Supervisor-Analytical (QCL Shift Supervisor) position is a key role within the Quality Control Laboratory team at Eli Lilly Kinsale. Initially, this role will support Peptides manufacturing but will later extend to provide supervisory support to the QCL Small Molecule shift team.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide coaching, feedback, and administrative support for team members, including manning and work schedules.
* Plan, assign, prioritize, and monitor workload for shift analysts.
* Lead daily huddles in their area.
* Plan, monitor, and oversee training of shift analysts, and assist with training on business processes and analytical techniques.
* Direct and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the shift team, scheduling and prioritizing QCL Peptides shift teams' work.
* Partner with Operations Supervisors, QCL Senior Managers, and the Analytical leadership team to meet business needs.
* Serve as a QCL consultant when unexpected issues arise and collaborate with Operations and Process Teams to resolve them.
* Create a significant impact and drive results from own work and through leading others.
* Oversee performance management planning, reviews, and career planning for direct reports.
* Ensure high standards of safety and quality compliance are maintained in the area.
* Responsible for making decisions for own team and accountable for the day-to-day activities of the team.

Requirements
* Minimum B.Sc. (Hons) in Laboratory Science subject.
* Minimum 5-years' experience within an analytical function in GMP setting.
* In-depth technical knowledge of analytical work processes and understanding procedures and concepts in adjacent areas.
* Strong interest and passion for leading people.
* Demonstrated ability to listen and understand individual perspectives.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain relationships across all levels in the organization.
* Demonstrated self-management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
* Demonstrated excellent collaborative and communication skills, both written and oral.
