Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize costs efficiency and quality
* Identify evaluate and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms
* Manage and maintain relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors
* Ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and industry regulations
* Collaborate with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements
* Monitor market trends price fluctuations and supply chain risks to mitigate potential disruptions
* Oversee inventory levels and work with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
* Prepare and analyse reports on procurement activities supplier performance and cost savings
Key Requirements
* Proven experience in procurement purchasing or supply chain management within the construction industry
* Strong negotiation analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent knowledge of construction materials suppliers and market trends
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
* Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
* Degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management Business or a related field
