The Role: Head Bartender
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, this position oversees the efficient and professional operation of the restaurant and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service meets company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversight of restaurant operations, including end-of-day closing and cash counting procedures.
* Ensuring the smooth running of restaurant/bar operations, adhering to SOPs at all times.
* Providing expert cocktail training for staff and maintaining brand standards.
* Knowledge of all beverage menus and ability to upsell throughout customer interactions.
* Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
* Ensuring customer satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
* Communicating special requirements or difficulties to management promptly.
* Responsibility for the bar area during shifts.
* Familiarity with health and safety protocols and adherence to hotel policies.
* Participating in training exercises to improve performance levels.
* Implementing HACCP and cleaning schedules daily.
* Communicating hotel services to guests as required.
* Receiving customer complaints professionally and reporting to managers immediately.
* Punctual arrival for duty, wearing full clean uniform and name badge.
* Maintenance of personal hygiene and grooming standards.
