About the Job We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant based in our Management Accounting department.
This department provides outsourced financial management solutions to a range of clients across many sectors.
The role offers an excellent opportunity to build a career in the largest Chartered Accountants firm in the Southeast and will be located in Co. Kilkenny.
Candidate: The successful candidate will be ACCA /ACA qualified with a minimum of two years experience working in a practice / finance environment.
The Role: Reporting to the department Manager, you will be responsible for: Monitoring the accurate completion of bookkeeping by clients, ensuring accuracy for monthly account preparation.
Overseeing the completion of VAT returns, RCT, PSWT as required.
Analysing and reconciling accounts to trial balance.
Preparation of monthly / quarterly management reports.
Month end / Year end close and audit preparation as required.
Day to day management of multiple clients ensuring key deliverables are met within a timely manner.
Providing clients with feedback and analysis.
Mentoring and developing junior members of the team Requirements for the Role: Excellent excel skills.
Experience with Sage / Xero / Dext / Autoentry is a distinct advantage.
Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge.
Commercial awareness with a desire to help businesses achieve their potential.
Problem-solving, communication skills, and ability to innovate are essential competencies.
