This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and high-performing Audit team, with exposure to a wide-ranging client base across diverse industries.You'll take ownership of planning and delivering audits, managing staff on-site, and building strong client relationships.
The firm offers a supportive culture, with structured development and clear career progression to Manager and beyond.Key Responsibilities:Lead the delivery of audit assignments across a variety of sectors and client sizesOversee planning procedures and ensure staff are well-briefed on key risks prior to fieldworkManage multiple audit engagements simultaneously, making efficient use of time and resourcesBuild and maintain strong working relationships with client personnel at all levelsProvide regular updates to Partners, flagging significant issues and concerns as they ariseProduce high-quality financial statements and audit reports, offering practical recommendations supported by clear rationaleEnsure audits are delivered to a high standard in line with FRS 102 and Irish GAAP, managing critical risks and meeting deadlines, budgets, and quality benchmarksMaintain a clear understanding of your authority levels and those of relevant stakeholders, ensuring full compliance with the firm's policies and regulatory requirementsSupport managers with the day-to-day supervision and development of junior staff, including mentoring, coaching, and contributing to performance management processesWhat We're Looking For:Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent)Minimum of 3 years' experience within a professional services firmStrong technical understanding of Irish GAAP, FRS 102, and risk-based auditing approachesAbility to develop audit strategies and manage end-to-end audit cyclesExperience working with clients across a range of industriesExcellent communication skills – both written and verbalProven project management skills and the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyConfident team leader with a proactive, hands-on approachWhy Join?Join a reputable Top 10 firm with a strong presence in the Irish marketGain exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients and industriesSupportive leadership and structured development frameworkExcellent career progression opportunities within a growing audit departmentCompetitive salary and benefits packageCollaborative, inclusive working environment based in Dublin city centre
