Manager, Equipment Engineering

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop employees to ensure efficient department operations, including hiring, developing, promoting, engaging, and retaining talent.
* Lead projects and project teams to ensure successful implementation.
* Develop and maintain tool standards and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence by equipment engineers.
* Coordinate tool data analysis, compile reports, present findings, recommend corrective actions, and propose long-term improvement plans.
* Track installation, site acceptance testing, and mass production readiness of new equipment; oversee the relocation of existing equipment to optimize workflow.
* Develop, implement, and maintain a system for tracking tool records, inspections, warranties, and service agreements.
* Collaborate with manufacturing engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues, improve reliability, review procedures, and minimize downtime.
* Monitor critical tool performance, ensuring maintenance schedules are followed and specifications are met.
* Investigate and implement countermeasures to prevent premature part breakdowns.
* Respond to engineering support inquiries from other departments and allocate resources during critical tool downtime.
* Research, develop, and implement emergency tool recovery plans.
* Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
