Key Responsibilities
1. Manage day-to-day site activities and supervise Electricians.
2. Supervise the installation of electrical mechanical containment systems, including cable ladders, trays, conduits, trunking, and other first fix electrical requirements.
3. Oversee the glandling and termination of Steel Wire Armour (SWA) and Aluminium Wire Armour (AWA) cabling according to local standards.
4. Lead and take ownership of electrical packages under tight schedule deadlines.
5. Communicate effectively with site management, informing them of any delays and proposing alternatives to mitigate these delays.
6. Familiarize yourself with local site safety guidelines and adhere to them.
7. Possess a locally recognized and fully certified Electrician qualification with experience in large-scale industrial projects.
8. Hold 5+ years of experience as an electrical supervisor or similar experience in managing large-scale, high-headcount electrical projects, preferably in Pharmaceuticals or Data Centres.
9. Be able to read and understand detailed electrical drawings.
10. Understand site Health and Safety guidelines and implement them with the workforce being supervised.
11. Demonstrate experience in supervisory ownership of Electrical packages such as:
o Mechanical Electrical containment (Ladder Rack/Trunking/Tray/Bracketry)
o Fire Alarm
o General services – small power
o Security and access control
o Instrumentation
o Local safety site certification such as "Safepass" and "Manual handling"
Desired Skills and Experience
* Formal qualifications in Electrical Engineering (University or similar)
* Medium Voltage (MV) experience
* Electrical Testing Experience
* BIM Experience using Navisworks, BIM360, and Autodesk docs
