The successful candidate will become an integral part of our clients Senior Management Team and will oversee the creation of innovative strategies that drive exceptional business results.
The Director of Sales and Marketing is a strategic and dynamic leader responsible for driving revenue growth and enhancing the brand reputation of this 5-star luxury resort.
This role combines visionary and innovative marketing strategies with proactive sales leadership to ensure the property achieves its financial and brand objectives while delivering world-class experiences to its guests.

Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, corporate clients, travel agents, and other stakeholders.
Lead and inspire the sales team, fostering a culture of high performance and exceptional service.
Analyse market trends, competitor activities, and guest preferences to identify growth opportunities.
Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and partnerships.
Marketing Strategy Collaborate with the creative team to develop compelling content that highlights the resorts unique offerings.
Manage brand positioning to ensure consistency and alignment with the resorts luxury identity.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
Managedigitaladvertising campaigns, including PPC, display advertising and PMAX to drive traffic and conversions.
Monitor advertising budgets and ROI and manage weekly meetings, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal performance.
Manage and grow the hotel's presence on key social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn).
Manage the SEO; improve visibility, increase organise traffic and enhance engine ranking.
Manage business listings on OTAs and 3rd party partners sites to promote the estate.
(Ireland Blue book/Virtuoso/ FHR/ Visit KK/Cvent etc) Utilise analytics tools to track and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for alldigitalmarketingefforts.
Stay abreast of industry trends and emergingdigitalmarketingtechnologies to ensure the hotel's competitiveness in the market.
To develop a marketing plan for the year (Q1-4) for each revenue segment to achieve growth and revenue targets To manage yearly events and projects such as Cyber week and seasonal campaigns.
Revenue Management Partner with the Director of Revenue to develop pricing strategies that maximise profitability.
Ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and operational teams to optimise guest satisfaction and financial performance.
Team Development Mentor, coach and develop a high-performing sales and marketing team.
Provide ongoing training to ensure the team is equipped with the latest tools and techniques.
Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the leadership team and department heads to align goals and strategies.
Prepare and present regular reports on sales, marketing performance, and market insights to senior management.
