Our Client, a global leader in high-performance solutions for the construction industry, is seeking a Junior Service Desk Engineer to join their Group IT Service Desk team. You will provide day-to-day IT support to end users, assist with device rollouts and configurations, and support the implementation of key IT initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of technologies and the opportunity to build a strong foundation in IT operations within a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-level support for end users across the organization.
2. Assist in device configuration, deployment, and user onboarding.
3. Administer and support user accounts via Active Directory and Azure AD (Microsoft Entra ID).
4. Troubleshoot and support Microsoft 365 (O365/M365), including Windows OS and Office applications.
5. Provide support for AV and meeting room technologies.
6. Assist with endpoint patching and maintenance.
7. Perform basic network troubleshooting and diagnostics.
8. Utilize ITIL-aligned service desk tools and workflows to manage support tickets.
9. Support system upgrades, feature deployments, and occasional after-hours critical tasks.
Requirements:
1. Minimum 1+ years’ experience in an IT Support or Service Desk role.
2. Practical experience with:
o Active Directory and Azure AD administration
o Windows Client and Server operating systems
o Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 environment
o Basic networking concepts and troubleshooting
o AV support in corporate environments
o ITIL-based service desk tools and methodologies
3. Strong organizational and time management skills.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
5. High level of professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours when required.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related discipline is advantageous.
2. Alternatively, a relevant certificate or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
3. Professional IT certifications are a plus (e.g., CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL).
