Job Description
To provide exceptional customer service and deliver high-quality maintenance, service, fault diagnosis, and repair of HGVs.
Duties and Responsibilities
1. Carry out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance, and repair of HGVs
2. Conduct road testing and quality control inspections as required
3. Complete all job-related paperwork in line with Irish Commercial standards
4. Work within guideline Volvo standard time lines
5. Deliver professional and efficient customer service at all times
6. Collaborate with colleagues and customers to maintain a positive working relationship
7. Acknowledge correct working procedures, reporting any errors or safety issues promptly to Management
8. Maintain a clean and tidy working area, reporting Health and Safety issues promptly
9. Report faulty facility/equipment promptly
10. Participate in training and development programmes as required by the Company
11. Undertake other duties or activities as required
Due to the nature of the role, 24-hour callout may be necessary on a rotation basis. Experience and Skills
* Minimum 3 years post-HGV apprenticeship experience or equivalent
* Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
* Excellent communication skills
* Computer literacy
