The Job Summary
We are the fastest growing production company in Europe and we are seeking a Mobile Support Engineer to provide high-quality aftersales service to our customers.
This role will involve building relationships with our customer base and advising them on the best approach to resolve concerns.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
* Ensuring root cause failure details are efficiently diagnosed
* Estimating retail repairs
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using industry diagnostic equipment and technical manuals
* Providing on-the-ground technical support to our customers
* Undertaking warranty and campaign repairs as per our work instructions
You will also be required to:
* Proactively promote and sell services and parts to customers
* Act as an interface between the Regional Service Manager and the customer workshop
* Undertake training as required
* Travel and work at other customer locations as needed
* Work weekend shifts and alternative shifts on a rota basis
You must observe health and safety at all times and adhere to company and customer policies.
The Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* NVQ level 3/City and Guilds in Heavy Vehicle/PSV engineering or equivalent
* A minimum of 4 years' experience in an engineering, heavy vehicle/PSV environment, dealership or fleet
* Demonstrated strong mechanical skills and good technical background
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Prior experience working on Wrightbus products is desirable.
