Responsibilities:
* Event Coordination:
o Assist in planning and organizing conferences, banquets, and special events, ensuring all requirements are met and executed flawlessly.
o Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored service for their events.
* Team Leadership:
o Supervise and lead the C&B team, providing training and guidance to ensure high standards of service and performance.
o Conduct daily briefings to prepare the team for upcoming events and communicate specific requirements.
* Guest Experience:
o Ensure exceptional guest service during events, addressing any issues promptly and effectively to enhance guest satisfaction.
o Monitor service quality and ensure all guests receive a warm and professional welcome.
* Setup and Preparation:
o Oversee the setup of function rooms, ensuring that all arrangements meet client specifications and are executed to a high standard.
o Ensure that all equipment, including audio-visual, is functioning properly before events commence.
* Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a safe working environment.
o Monitor cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the C&B areas before, during, and after events.
* Reporting and Administration:
o Assist in maintaining accurate records of events, including attendance and feedback, to inform future improvements.
o Collaborate with the management team to forecast and manage staffing levels based on event requirements.
Requirements:
* Experience:
o Previous experience in a supervisory role within the conferences and banqueting sector or hospitality industry is preferred.
* Leadership Skills:
o Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

o Excellent customer service skills and a passion for creating memorable experiences for guests.
