The Cavan Crystal Hotel are currently seeking applications for a Conference & Banqueting Porter. We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Conference & Banqueting Porter to join our team. About The Role
Main duties and responsibilities:
1. Events set up and clean up - Prepare conference rooms and event spaces, including arranging furniture, equipment and décor to a high standard.
2. Technical support - Assist guests with setting up IT equipment, sound systems and AV equipment, ensuring all technology runs smoothly.
3. Guest assistance - Provide excellent customer service, including assisting guests with their luggage and answering any queries they may have.
4. Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of event spaces and public areas.
5. Assisting with linen and other deliveries within the Hotel and maintaining storage areas.
6. Collaborate with other departments to ensure events run seamlessly and guest satisfaction is prioritized.
Requirements:
1. Previous experience in a similar role.
2. Customer focused with an eye for detail.
3. Proficient with IT and previous experience.
4. Ideally have experience working in a Hotel.
