This role involves the fabrication, installation, and finishing of metalwork structures, primarily in Dublin, with projects spanning across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in both steel installation and carpentry techniques, ensuring precision and high-quality workmanship.
Key Responsibilities Installation & Assembly: Install security gates, railings, balconies, staircases, and other bespoke metal structures.
Fit steel frames, doors, and structural components on-site.
Ensure installations are completed to the highest standards and meet all safety regulations.
Fabrication & Finishing: Measure, cut, and shape steel components to precise specifications.
Work with a variety of materials, including steel, iron, and wood, depending on project needs.
Carry out finishing touches, ensuring installations are aesthetically pleasing and fully functional.
Site Work & Team Collaboration: Work closely with a small, skilled team to complete projects efficiently.
Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, and clients.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Problem Solving & Quality Control: Identify and resolve any issues during installation.
Conduct quality checks to ensure all work meets design specifications and client expectations.
Adhere to health and safety protocols at all times.
Requirements ?
Experience: Minimum 4+ years in a steel fitting or metalwork installation role.

Carpentry Skills: Strong background in woodworking, joinery, or carpentry, particularly in structural applications.

Driving License: A valid drivers license is required.

Teamwork & Communication: Ability to work effectively in a small team and liaise with project managers.

Blueprint & Technical Reading: Proficiency in reading technical drawings, plans, and blueprints for installation.

Work Ethic: A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications (Not Essential but Beneficial): ?
