Operations Coordinator Location: Killarney, Co. Kerry Position: Permanent Working Hours: Mon - Fri, 9am-6pm, will involve occasional evening and weekend work. Salary: €40k - €48k We are seeking an Operations Coordinator for a Tourist related business in Killarney. This will mostly be a Monday to Friday position, 9am to 6pm, with occasional evening work and weekend requirements. As an Operations Coordinator you will manage day-to-day operational activities, coordinate with suppliers and team members, and ensure that all services meet their high-quality standards. Responsibilities: Coordinate and oversee daily operations, including tour schedules, bookings, and customer service. Communicate with staff and third-party vendors to ensure all arrangements run smoothly. Manage and update booking systems, itineraries, and schedules. Monitor operational performance and address any issues promptly to minimise disruption. Maintain relationships with suppliers, ensuring contracts and agreements are up to date. Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling of support staff. Stock control of operational resources, including shop supplies, farm equipment, and promotional materials. Requirements: Proven experience in operations or coordination within the tourism, travel, or hospitality industry. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a customer-first attitude. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Familiarity with local and international tourism trends and regulations. Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle unexpected challenges calmly. Flexibility to occasionally work outside standard hours, including weekends or holidays, as required.
