Job Title: Site Manager
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our client's team in Cork.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction of civil projects, primarily wastewater and wastewater treatment works. This role requires a strong background in site management, employee supervision, procurement, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise sites, employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
* Manage project programme and procurement needs in conjunction with the procurement and QS team.
* Ensure project delivery meets agreed scope.
* Maintain accurate documentation on site, including health and safety files.
* Implement and maintain high standards of health and safety management.
* Communicate project progress through necessary channels.
* Oversee quality management on site and ensure highest possible standards.
Requirements:
* 5+ years experience as a Site Manager or Project Manager in the civils sector.
* Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar (desired).
* Strong attention to detail to ensure quality standards.
* Able to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to required quality standards.
* Prioritize health and safety above all else.
* Work independently and manage own workload.
* Self-motivated, ambitious, and dedicated.
* Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
* Proficient in MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and industry-specific software.
* Superb written and oral communication skills.
