Are you our next Digital Grid (IT/OT Convergence) Director?
Join our team at KPMG and help shape the future of Ireland's energy, utility, and transport infrastructure as we transition to a sustainable, low-carbon future. We are building the KPMG Digital Grid practice, where you will play a pivotal role in identifying and working on impactful projects that drive scalable solutions.

Your key responsibilities as part of the team:
1. Thought Leadership: Develop KPMG's presence in target sectors by crafting thought-leading perspectives on how digitisation can revolutionise operations and deliver substantial value.
2. Client Support: Provide guidance to clients in crafting their digital asset management strategies, creating implementation roadmaps, and building investment cases.
3. Advocacy: Act as an advocate for digital asset management both within and outside KPMG, fostering effective networking and thought leadership development.
4. Innovation: Define future business and organisational models for asset-intensive companies, integrating people, technology, and information impacts into these models.
5. Sustainability: Assist clients in formulating strategies that align with their environmental and sustainability objectives.
6. Client Relationships: Foster and nurture relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure long-term partnerships.
Your experience, skills, and capabilities:
7. Professional Background: Currently working in a prominent consulting firm, or in the industry with a consulting background.
8. Project Success: Proven track record of identifying opportunities and successfully developing, shaping, and delivering business transformation projects.
9. Industry Insight: Strong understanding and experience in asset and material management within the energy, utilities, or transport sectors.
10. Digital Transformation: Significant experience in designing and executing digital transformation programs.
11. Best Practices: Knowledge of industry best practices and the ability to apply them to optimise construction and operational asset management programs.
12. Standards: Familiarity with international Asset Management Standards, including ISO55000/1.
13. Technology Proficiency: Practical knowledge and experience with Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), OT strategy, digital twin, connected assets, cloud solutions, data analytics, automation, and control, and their transformative potential for business operations.
14. Asset Management: Sound understanding of the Asset Management Lifecycle, Turnaround Management, Work Planning and Execution, as well as Reliability Engineering, Program and Project Management skills.
15. Professional Membership: Membership in a relevant professional body is preferred.
16. Business Development: Track record of generating business through a combination of the organisation's existing relationships, company affiliations, and your own network.
