Regional Development Executive - FDI Waterford
With a focus on regional development, our client is seeking support in delivering investment to the regions. The purpose of this role is to support the delivery of regional targets for the Southeast Region and to manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients.
The ideal candidate will contribute proactively to advance strategic interest in the Regions through marketing the Southeast, in partnership with colleagues, as a location for new Foreign Direct Investment (FDI).
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a portfolio of Regional Enterprise Development Clients to support their transformation and continued presence in the regions.
* Prepare marketing value propositions, content, and itineraries to maximise the investment opportunities for the Region.
* Support the Regional Manager in enhancing the region's business ecosystem through networking and relationship building across regional and national stakeholders.
* Draft, coordinate, manage, and accompany visiting itineraries and e-site visits to the business locations within the region.
* Support the Regional Manager on the delivery of appropriate and timely solutions to challenges faced by existing and potential clients in the Region.
* Provide close and effective start-up assistance and support for new client companies establishing in the region.
* Represent our client at a range of meetings and functions and speak on behalf of our client outlining our role, strategy importance, and economic impact nationally and regionally.

This role requires strong computer literacy skills, digital marketing and social media skills, and a relevant Level 8 third-level business/sector-related degree recognised on the National Qualification Framework.
A full driving licence is essential, and this role will require domestic travel, flexible working hours, and a willingness to work flexibly across regions on a regular basis.
