About the role:
We are looking for a proactive, energetic, and communicative sales professional with strong business acumen and passion for innovation to join our growing sales team in Ireland on the position of Business Development Manager. This is a field-based sales role within a defined territory.
What you’ll do:
* Delivery of individual sales & revenue targets in line with company objectives;
* Ownership of a defined geographical territory, building the myPOS brand and generating sales through networking and visibility within area;
* Cold calling within your territory as well as conversion of hot leads/inbound sales opportunities;
* Organize meetings with prospects to conduct sales;
* Ensure high level of customer service and satisfaction throughout onboarding journey;
* Maintain the existing client database and develop growth opportunities;
* Conduct research to identify new business opportunities;
* Use the company’s CRM to manage activities and communications with clients and prospects;
* Act as an ambassador of myPOS at fairs, exhibitions, and local business networks;
* Provide onboarding after-sales support and follow up on sales progress;
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports for manager and business.
This role is perfect for you if you have:
* Previous professional experience in field sales, preferably in a fast-paced environment and/or industry;
* Previous professional experience in the Fintech/Banking/Payment industry is preferred but not an absolute requirement;
* Previous professional experience in telecoms/retail/outlet or similar will be considered a strong advantage;
* Experience with administration and working with systems such as ticketing and CRM, invoicing, and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word;
* Have a very good understanding of the sales process and dynamics;
* Able to meet and exceed sales targets;
* Commitment to excellent customer service;
* Flexible person who thinks outside the box and possesses a can-do attitude;
* Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers;
* Great communication skills and eager to assist customers with problem-solving;
* A team player, able to coordinate efforts and be very well synchronized with teammates;
* Passion for technology and the latest developments;
* Very good command of English, both verbal and written.
