Quantity surveyor

You will like Undertaking full-scope QS work from Nottingham office for a reputable family owned property & maintenance contractor with UK wide coverage for notable public and private sector clients.
The Quantity Surveyor job itself where you will manage and control all financial and technical aspects of contracts including procurement, invoicing and payment to minimise costs & maximise value.
You will be responsible for the financial performance of the project through to collection of cash.

You will have To be successful as Quantity Surveyor, you will be an experienced QS with a healthy mix of the following:
Professional Qualification (e.g.
HNC/HND/Degree/Diploma) or equivalentPrevious experience of construction/retrofit or fabric upgrades are preferred however not essentialPrevious experience of working with bill of quants, schedules of rates, design and bud contracts etc.Extensive experience in commercial management and procurement of subcontractorsAbility to demonstrate a good knowledge of monthly reportingExcellent team player whilst also holding the ability to work independently on own initiativeExperienced with direct and subcontract labourExcellent time management skills, with ability to work to tight deadlinesAbility to encourage and support other members of the commercial teamStrong IT skills, particularly ExcelYou will get As Quantity Surveyor, you will receive a Salary of £40K-£45K + Package
