Key Responsibilities
* Review and validate tender budgets, ensuring all scope has been captured and identifying any associated risks.
* Develop and regularly update detailed cost plans.
* Manage subcontractor accounts, interim valuations, and final accounts, ensuring timely payment in accordance with agreed sub-contract and procurement terms, including retentions.
* Presentation of weekly and monthly commercial project reports to senior management, incorporating updated cost plans, cash flow forecasts, schedule updates, and risk assessments.
* Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
* Leadership of the procurement process, including supplier and subcontractor selection, in collaboration with the Project and Procurement Team.
* Liaising with clients, project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met, with the ability to negotiate commercial and contractual matters.
* Leadership and mentorship of junior quantity surveyors and other team members.
