Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Financial Controller to oversee two 4-star properties in Tipperary and Waterford. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the financial strategy of both hotels and contribute to their continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Management: Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts, Profit and Loss (P&L) statements, and cashflow projections.
* Revenue Oversight: Monitor and control all sales revenue streams, providing detailed insights to optimize profitability and identify trends or areas for improvement.
* Forecasting and Budgeting: Develop and implement robust forecasting and budgeting processes that align with the strategic objectives of the hotel.
* Operational Oversight: Direct and support the accounts team in managing cash, debtors, creditors, and payroll.
* Compliance and Taxation: Guarantee full compliance with tax laws and regulations, ensuring timely submission of tax returns and payment of liabilities to avoid penalties.
* Financial Protection: Safeguard the business from financial risks by proactively identifying potential liabilities and implementing mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
* An experienced Hotel Financial Controller with several years of experience.
* A Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA) or similar.
* Demonstrated experience as a Financial Controller within the 4-star hotel sector or a similar hospitality environment.
* Excellent exposure to KPI's, internal controls, budgets, and forecasts.
Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
