SecOps Engineer Job Description
About This Role
We're looking for a SecOps Engineer to bring fresh perspectives and bold solutions to our team.
In this role, you'll be instrumental in shaping how our organization provides secure, appropriate, and timely access to consumer and partner resources.
What You'll Be Doing
This SecOps Engineer will be part of the Lilly Cybersecurity team, responsible for delivering and securing technology that supports the Lilly mission, specifically focused on identity and access management (IAM) technologies supporting Consumer and Partner authentication.
In this role, you will partner with various business, information technology, and larger cyber security teams to ensure technology is deployed, configured and supported securely and aligned with Cybersecurity and enterprise technology strategies.
You will be responsive and disciplined in your support of the security services that are provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, support and secure authentication services for Consumer and Partner identities.
* Understand the threat landscape with the ability to translate the general threats into relevant business and technical impacts.
* Work and collaborate effectively on a team to support identity capabilities and solutions.
* Implement and support technical solutions and capabilities in Identity that improve security while enhancing user experience.
* Keep abreast of the latest developments in IAM technologies, security threats and regulatory changes.
Your Basic Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
* 3+ years demonstrated technical experience supporting Identity and Access Management technologies and capabilities.
* 3+ years of experience supporting preferably Okta / Auth0 or other Customer and Partner identity solutions like ForgeRock, Azure B2C, Akamai Identity Cloud, PingOne.
Additional Preferences:
* Technical experience across identity and access management technologies such as Azure AD/Entra ID and/or Active Directory.
* Understanding of authentication and authorization technologies and federated identity standards and protocols (multifactor authentication, certificate-based authentication, LDAP, Kerberos, OAuth, SAML, OpenID Connect).
* Experience in implementing and supporting enterprise-class security systems and services.
* Strong communication, documentation, and customer service skills to engage with Customers in the complete resolution of their issues.
* Ability to understand and follow documented processes to consistently support Services.
* Ability to work with a distributed and virtual team.
