Overview:
We're looking for an experienced Senior
HRAssistant to support our
HRdepartment and leadership team in driving company growth.
This role is for someone with five years of
HRexperience, who is comfortable handling
HRoperations and also ready to step into a more strategic role by helping design and implement growth-focused
HRplans.
You'll work closely with the Head of
HRto make sure our
HRprocesses not only run smoothly but also help our team and company thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
HR
Department Support:
Assist the Head of
HRin overseeing day-to-day
HRactivities, serving as a reliable resource for employee relations, hiring, and team development.
Contribute ideas and support for aligning our
HRpractices with company goals.
Talent Acquisition:
Lead our recruitment efforts by posting job ads, coordinating with recruitment partners, and guiding candidates through the interview process.
You'll make sure we attract the right talent and create a welcoming experience for all applicants.
Employee Growth and Development:
Help design and roll out growth and development plans for employees.
This involves working with team leaders to identify training needs and career opportunities that will support their team members' long-term success.
HR Data and Compliance:
Keep employee records up-to-date and handle any required
HRdocumentation.
Ensure our practices meet local employment laws and advocate for
HRbest practices across the company.
Payroll and Benefits Support:
Work with the payroll team to manage payroll-related questions and ensure accurate processing.
Support the administration of benefits to promote employee engagement and well-being.
On-boarding and
New Hire Support:
Take charge of the on-boarding process to ensure new hires have a great start.
You'll track probation periods and follow up with managers to provide timely feedback to new employees.
Performance and Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee questions, helping create a positive, supportive work environment.
Assist in developing performance management processes that are fair and effective.
Reporting and Insights:
Create and present reports for leadership, using
HRdata to give insights on trends like retention and recruitment.
Your reports will help guide improvements in how we manage talent.
HR Projects and Process Improvements:
Lead or support special
HRprojects aimed at making our operations more efficient.
Work with
HRleadership to develop new initiatives that make a positive impact on our people and processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field, or CIPD certification.
Requirements:
At least five years' experience in an
HRrole, with increasing responsibilities.
Proficient in
HRsystems, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable with basic data analysis.
Proven ability to handle sensitive information and provide trustworthy support to the
HRteam.
Experience with recruiting, employee development, and other
HRinitiatives.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
Strong knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
