Supply Chain Sustainability Professional
We are seeking an ambitious supply chain professional with a keen interest in Sustainability and Supplier responsibility management for our client based in Shannon, Co. Clare.
This new role will involve collaboration with other departments and suppliers, and the successful candidate will report directly to the Head of Supply Chain with dotted line reporting to the Quality Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
* Drive the supplier onsite audit programme in collaboration with the quality department.
* Evaluate new suppliers as a member of the supplier evaluation team.
* Formulate a supplier rating system based on department KPIs.
* Work as part of a team to achieve supply chain KPIs, including dual sourcing, cost reduction, and supplier management.
* Lead the responsible sourcing program and manage the annual Ecovadis submission.
* Represent the supply chain team for customer and standards certification audits.
* Contribute to the established CSR and Sustainability Strategy, including re-shoring initiatives.
* Participate in value analysis programs.
* Train suppliers in company policies and procedures and ensure compliance with standards.
* Maintain up-to-date supply chain policies and procedures.
* Provide backup to the buying team with sourcing capabilities and industry knowledge.
Requirements:
* A third-level degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or Quality.
* Auditing experience (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 450001) is an advantage.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a supply chain or technical role.
* Strong time management and task prioritization skills.
* Good project management and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* A keen eye for detail with strong multi-tasking abilities.
* Ability to travel throughout Europe regularly and occasionally to Asia.
The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per annum depending on experience.
