Contract Senior RTL Design Engineer

Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior RTL Design Engineer to join our client, a leading Multinational Semiconductor Telecom Organisation, on a 6-month daily rate contract basis. This role is 100% remote and requires the successful candidate to be within a +2 hour time difference from Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with signal processing and HW engineers to develop a new decoder block for high-performance reception.
* Translate signal processing algorithms into fully synthesizable RTL code based on an existing IP.
* Propose a micro-architecture, Verilog coding, simulation, and verified block that allows for a die size reduction of 2 to 4.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
* At least 8 years of experience in digital design.
* Familiarity with design flow (RTL, testbench, code coverage, synthesis, formal verification, gate level simulation).
* Strong background in Verilog.
* Excellent understanding of communication theory and digital signal processing, particularly OFDM and MIMO technologies.
* Experience with Matlab.
* Excellent written communication skills for creating functional, design, and test plan documentation.
* Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with English as the primary language.
Estimated Salary:
$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
