The Role Due to an unprecedented period of growth - we are searching for a NPD Technologist to join our team at Finnebrogue.
Reporting to the NPD Manager this role involves manging the day-to-day activities that involves getting products from concept to launch.
The position will have a number of key responsibilities including (but not limited to): Batching; -accurately following new receipes, weighing out of ingredients in the spice room or raw meat over the tables Mixing; -assisting in pumping and packing of samples on the factory floor Labelling: - Making labels, detailing UB, allergens, title for products and finished goods stock control, ensuring that all products are labelled correctly Sampling; -Making up samples boxes for customer requests Cooking; - cooking off samples for assessment (internally and with customer) Stock check of NPD ingredients, highlight when we are low, add to procurement tracker Ensure retained samples are frozen down, manage frozen stocks, highlight when retained close to depletion, disposing of products that are out of date or not progressing.
Hours of Work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with core hours being 10am to 4pm.
What it takes You do not need experience as full training will be provided, we look for a can do attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
