In this role, you will champion Bord Bia’s relationship with our client companies and other sector stakeholders. Together with colleagues, to help clients access appropriate supports and services. To develop and enhance Bord Bia’s knowledge of relevant trends and issues to inform sector and client strategies for growth. What you’ll doProvide overall client and project support to the Meat & Livestock team.Develop strong working relationships with client base as per segmentation, prioritising agreed partner and club plus companies through proactive engagement and liaison with clients, through various means; virtual and/or onsite meetings, emails and updates to CRM.Develop a deep understanding of the client business, including identifying key challenges and opportunities facing the business; engaging with assigned clients through formal, regular check-ins; capture and share key actions and outputs with appropriate colleagues and deliver relevant supports by ensuring clear and tight client informed briefs and managing the process through to delivery.Continuously build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders through regular consultation, attend and engage at relevant industry events and meetings, and provide relevant insights.Use the One Bord Bia client plan template and the client engagement model to co-create annual plans with assigned partner clients and a select number of Club Plus clients, including identifying and coordinating the delivery of the appropriate services available to them from across Bord Bia.Support the Meat & Livestock and events teams to ensure effective and commercially focused participation at trade fairs for clients through appropriate recruitment, coordinating preshow supports such as workshops and 1:1 supports, coordinating trade engagement with overseas offices and post-show follow up.Produce high calibre sector commentary for trade media articles, and internal and external briefings through well researched and presented documentation. Gather and disseminate insight on the Pigmeat and Poultry sectors from a client and market perspective with particular focus on future developments regarding the production and trading environment.Contribute to the development of plans for primary Pigmeat and Poultry during the One Bord Bia annual planning process by proactive cross department engagement and a clear, concise understanding of client and market needs.Support the Meat & Livestock and Insights team deliver insight and market intelligence projects by ensuring clear briefs, proactive engagement to the project end, client engagement as needed and ensuring the team is consulted.Promote understanding of relevant Bord Bia supports, and encourage participation, such as My Bord Bia, Talent Academy, grants.Manage assigned budgets in accordance with One Bord Bia procedures.Embed adherence to the One Bord Bia Operating ModelAbout You Essential Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities Knowledge:A minimum 3+ years’ experience in a related fieldIrish food and drink industry, and its marketsPrimary agriculture sector, and its main stakeholdersBord Bia’s role and responsibilitiesCommercial functioning of food businessesSkills & Capabilities:Digital first mindsetComfortable with an agile culture focused on continuous improvementClient Relationship managementPresentation development and deliveryAnalytical writing skillsProject Management Desirable Knowledge, Skills & Capabilities Knowledge:Food and drink industry experienceRoute to market.
