The Opportunity
As a qualified accountant, you will take the lead in managing and delivering on client requirements. You will oversee a portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services, including preparing accounts, tax returns, and financial statements.

Requirements
* Professional Qualifications: Must hold a recognized accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) with up-to-date membership and compliance with professional standards.
* Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
* Client-Focused: Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while providing tailored financial advice.
* Organised and Detail-Oriented: Proven ability to manage multiple client accounts efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely completion of work.
* Leadership Skills: Demonstrated experience mentoring junior staff, fostering a collaborative work environment, and contributing to team growth and development.
Responsibilities
* Client Account Management: Oversee a portfolio of clients, providing a full range of accounting services, including preparing accounts, tax returns, and financial statements.
* Compliance and Advisory: Ensure clients comply with statutory obligations while offering strategic advice on tax planning, financial performance, and business development.
* Team Leadership: Supervise and support junior accountants, delegating tasks effectively and ensuring high-quality output across the team.
* Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and enhance the efficiency of accounting practices, utilising relevant technology and software.
* Reporting and Analysis: Deliver accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to clients, assisting them in decision-making and long-term financial planning.
Salary & Benefits
Competitive salary (£45,000 - £60,000 per annum) + discretionary bonus, dependent on performance and company targets.
