Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global finance team of an award-winning business that plays a significant role in supplying hospitals and laboratories with life-changing equipment to assist with the diagnosis of medical conditions across the globe.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare relevant journal entries to support the financial statement process in line with US GAAP & corporate financial policies.
* Account reconciliations to facilitate balance sheet valuation.
* Detailed margin variance analysis & investigate differences.
* Contribute to the monthly close ensuring completion of accounts for your area including submissions to head office.
* Detailed calculations of product costings.
* Ensure Corporate Policies are adhered to with consistency and standardisation of cost accounting.
* Play a key role in process improvement projects and continuous improvement within the finance function.
* Provide detailed commentary, modelling and analysis on customer pricing.
* Business Partner to functions across the site.
* Liaise with tax teams on transfer pricing.
* Work with external and internal Auditors as required.
Requirements:
* Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with 5+ years' cost accounting experience.
* SAP and IFRS experience an advantage.
* Self-motivated, analytical and commercial mindset.
* Ability to lead from the front, develop teams with the drive to implement change.
